Preparing Wing Tips – continued

IMPORTANT NOTE: Finished wing tips don’t need to have needle points on the corners. Clip them back so they have a blunt end – use reasonable judgment. Keep in mind you must keep a reasonable distance from the eyelet to all outside edges to maintain good fastening strength.

REMEMBER:

Wing tips actually have a top and bottom (the long sides each have a different radius). Not important info now but will be when attached to main sail.
