MISCELLANEOUS FITTINGS:

• CIRCLE FITTINGS - We have all seen the unbelievable “Flying Crowns” by Andre’ Cassagne and then later the sun and moon circles by Pete Dolphin... I have been wrestling with machining this fitting for  years. I finally have what appears to be a workable prototype design...

• HAIRPIPE TENSIONERS - easily slideable tensioners for bow lines or fabric tensioners. With directions on how to use them.

• BUBBLE WAND HUB - Kite Studio manufactures the central hub that holds the bubble wands for Felix Cartegena's original bubble machine. The plan was published in Kite Lines Volume 12 Number 3, 1997. Hundreds have been sold!

MISCELLANEOUS FITTINGS:

• DO HICKIES:
  Strange fitting, we did not name them, and we will let you figure out what to do with them. They  are shaped like the letter “C” and they clip on to a spar. One use is as a classy stopper.

• SPAR TO BRIDLE FITTING
  The fitting slides over the stick, glue in place, an instant clean way to attach a line to a stick.  Similar to the eye fittings that are thread wrapped to fishing poles; however, these guys do NOT have to be thread wrapped. Use to attach a bridle to a stick; or, build a truss system to support a  longeron. i.e. Bobby Stainfield’s Stone Mountain Kite.

• FLUSH INSERTS:
  Flush Inserts are used is to re-enforce the end of an epoxy tube. In other words, a flush aluminum insert that  gets glued in the end of the stick to make it super strong. Usually used at high stress areas such as the end of the stick inserted in a stunt kite tee bracket.

• VINYL END CAPS:
  Protect your kite's skin by putting end caps on the spars. Caps are black in color and fit snuggly over the spar. Secure the cap with super glue or tape to prevent the cap from coming off inside the sleeve.
