feather flags Expandable Fiberglass Poles work great for feather flags and wind wands, I've even seen some in kites! . Available in lengths of 12, 16, and 20 feet. Each green pole collapses into a four foot section and has a soft rubber cap on both ends. The 20 foot heavy duty pole is stiffer than the others and has a larger diameter on the top section, resulting in less flex.
Each pole can be secured into the ground either by using a larger diameter piece of PVC plastic pipe, or a smaller diameter steel or aluminum tubing. If metal is used be sure the edges are always smooth and take care not to "etch" the interior of the fiberglass pole. Every pole has an "eye fitting" on top to accomdate a small hook or snap swivel.
