I kinda got the idea from the Della Porta project online for this tail

I take 3 inch wide strips of Tyvec and sew them end to end to the desired length then I wrap it around a quilting ruler make lots of slits on one side with my roatry cutter then put a ruler over the cut side to keep my next cuts from going too deep do the same thing....flip the ruler over and repeate.....put a grommet in the end tile a pig tail on it and ....there ya go...easy tail..my biggest problem is that I keep giving them away to kids that need a tail for there kite to fly....(ok it is not a "problem" cuz I love helping the kids kites to fly)

the pictures I have on my page show the tails on everything from my roc to my mini flake...

just a thought for you if you are looking for a cheep, fast and easy tail...
