Pincher Creeks 13th Shocked annual kite festival will be held on July 17th and 18th.
The festival is held at 'Windy Point' on the East side of the Old Man Resivoir and is right beside the dam. And, it's a party man.
There are no competitions or anything. It's just a lot of people flying a lot of kites. People from all over come as well. Last year, the festival had several thousand attendee's over the two days. I've attended 4 times over the last 6 years and it's always great.
Here is a link to thier web site. Currently (as of this posting), it still shows last years event. They recently had some web troubles and have switched servers. New info should be available soon.

I recently talked to the organizer of the event, Joan Rickard, and we are going to put my new (not finished yet though), Crazy Eddy kite arch over the main entrance. Or, near enough anyways.

Cheers,
Progcraft.
