Tell us more!.....KY is not too far away for me....

is there a web site?....schedule of events?

Yes there is a web site and it is www.kitefest.com. There is no schedule we post a quasi-schedule at the tent we set up for kites. The cultural side has a stage where people perform song, dance, and music from various countries and there are food vendors selling ethnic food. In the kite area we have a large tent where we set up displays, have free classes for kids to make small kites and there is a large open field where people can fly. If we can get people off the field we will do demos. We have a Japanese kite club that sends a few people over for the event.
