Way to go Bernie and Peggy-Unfortunately for me, I won't be able to start on mine until after Fort Worden-too many other commitments. But I admire your industry and diligence, Kite-a-Week-Mountain-Man.

Cheers,

Way to go, MM! I have had that dragon floating around in my head for nearly two years ago. I even bought the material back then.

Making the pattern, and cutting the material is the most difficult for me on any project. Maybe if I had someone that could help me set things up so I could put the pattern together like a puzzle as yours was...... Think

Hey! Would someone please email me a copy of that pattern? It looks like fun! Cool
(I've been spending the last few nights sewing 20' - 30' long seams in the twin tails for my AfterBurner. Next in line is the really large tail. Darn house isn't long enough. I've taken a few pictures, so maybe I'll post them later and start my own thread.) Smile

Dorsal,
What's your email address? Or maybe MM can post it on his web site?
Stevef, can I send you a copy to post on this web site? It's about 550kbytes.

Like I said to kiteguy and Mountain Man, this is drawn from a little picture. It may not be accurate. If MM found some adjustments to do on the pattern I will send an update.

Things are beginning to hum... I think MM is winding up the engine...

Say, Steve, is it time to start thinking 1½ oz ripstop with what is essentially a ghenki with a wing span of abt 260cm, but keeping the body at .75 oz Just thinking out loud, but looking ahead.

well Smarties, nice to see you back in the forum! And yes it went quite smoothly printing then assembling the page ! I have not seen any problem to now ! all seem to fall in place !

Now remember all of you interested in this dragon, the PFD is only the wing and the main body and head shape! that does not include the head shape or the legs!

I will work on that tomorow and will ask smarties to help with the drawings that I will do to turn them into pfd files !

so that is tomorow work for me ! Wink and also remember that this is not a week project kite ! MM will be a much longuer on this one ! Rolling Eyes
