With the help of my friends I have managed to organise my second kite exhibition in the North East of England at Kirkleatham Museum
We have also hosted kite make it days over the school holidays and attracted 1000 visitors over 4 days with the help of local media coverage.
My 10 Papillion’s take centre stage suspended in the centre of the glass roofed hall. The Local Council Redcar & Cleveland have offered the use of a large show ground with in a mile of the Museum for kite flying on April the 3rd when the North East Kite flyers have been invited. Local Arts officers have been impressed especially by Charleyand are organising a local arts net working and collaboration day at the museum. More kite making for kids is planned for Easter and the Hall is available if any body would like to attend a Kite making workshop.
I hope to stage this event every year and hope it gather local support and participation the exhibition will remain until mid April

I'll try and organise some funding so that you can all come and see it for yourself. We could have a transatlantic Rok fight I know just the man for saving kites from peril ....

Just shown Karen your pics and she says you should either bring some papillons to Fylde for her to steal or invite her up to make one if she cant make one at Karls Workshop... Smile

Hi Dazzz all my art work for my papillons is in template form... So that I can mark two identical paterns onto black Ripstop with pencil.. If Karen would like I will mark out the art work of any of my Papillons and send you the Ripstop in the post.

Least I can do as you did a Heroic dive to catch my Rok !
