Okay ladies and gents.... In case you haven’t noticed, things look a little different around here !

This is the 2005 version of the Forum. Grant's Kite of the year motivated the subtle red, white, and blue theme... I hope you like it. I am sorry to see Mountain Man's "Caledonia Mountain Kite" leave the page, but it was up there a good twelve months. It has now been replaced by the 2004 Kite of the Year, "Double Star" by Grant Lovett. And if you scroll to the bottom of the front page, you will also notice a mug shot of our Kite Builder of the Year: Terry Thillmann aka Progcraft. You guys have secured a place in history - Congratulations!

With the new format, there are few other changes. You should no longer have to scroll right and left when someone posts a large picture. The forum will automatically resize the image to fit within the boundaries and automatically create a link to the full size picture (just click on the image). Also, if somebody posts a lllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggg string of characters (like a URL address), the forum will create a scroll bar for just for that post. Kinda cool eh?

Lets see, what else? Several of you have requested a link on the bottom of the page for the "View Posts since last Visit" so I added two. One on the top right and another on the bottom left. Check out these little green arrows too: . Click on one and it takes you immediately to the newest post.

I also added a few buttons and moved a bunch of others around. It may take a while to get used to, but overall I think it looks cleaner and is easier to navigate.

There are few other things I'll be adding in the coming year (HOPEFULLY an interactive calendar), so stay tuned. Thanks again for making this forum a wonderful place to visit....
