There have been some murmers that the 25th Cervia kitefestival held in Italy in a few months will not be going ahead this year due to funding problems. This is very alarming for me as I was to attend this event and may need to seek refunds for my airline tickets if it is true.
I have sent the organisers an email a few days ago but have had no reply to date.
Can anybody confirm this for me? The source who told me is a very well known and reliable kiteflying personality.

I just got word from the organizers and the exposition that was to take place has been cancelled, not the festival itself.
