Starting in Christchurch, (South Island) 15/16 January then onto Nelson the following weekend 21-23rd. Into the North Island starting with a mid week kite fly(25th) on the beach at Paraparaumu and a BBQ. Then onto Napier 29/30th- the art deco capital of the world. Then mid week we fly on the side of an active volcano at Mt Ruapehu, Tongariro National Park 1/2nd Feb then 3rd on to Lake Taupo, then onto Rotorua for 5/6th then back to Wellington to end with Chinese New Year celebrations on Sunday 13th Feb. I reckon we'll need a holiday after all the kiting - could be all kited out!!! If you are planning to head to the warmer climate of Down Under then join members of the New Zealand Kite Fliers Association in our kite tour.

Yup would love to go back there again but not in the budget. Drachen I love NZ and will have to come back that way someday, looked at some property near lake Wanaka (love the fishin) and did a bit of kite fishing at Waihi beach, had Gurnid for evening tea-Yummy! Are you going to do this again? When I get a chance to do it I will look you up. I was there in 96 and 98 for most of your summer.....really nice!
