yep... it has become quite popular. I also offer it in 1/8" and more diameters to follow... will also stock some coils of Graphite.
Mostly it is used by our customers making huge pieces of fabric art/architecture. Imagine a giant "Slinky" covered in fabric and filled with light.... Customers are always asking for different lengths of fiberglass and there is no possible way to stock everything and I can't special order just a a couple non-standard lengths.... so this is my solution. If you dont want our standard 4 and 6 foot lengths, then you can purchase a 200 footer and cut up whatever you need. The price per foot is a little more only because it is costs more labor to hand coil and box that length. Be advised, if you order this, additional shipping charges will apply. _________________ Steve Ferrel

Ahh. . . Fabric art. That makes sense. Actualy, thats realy facinating. I was originaly thinking they might be usefull for a circoflex (although I don't have any experience with those). |

Yep, 1/8" is a popular size for Circo's. This also solves the problem of breaking ferrels when the Circoflex is "wrapped up" _________________ Steve Ferrel
