I haden't heard the coke bottle thread stand one.....
just cut the bottom and set over the cone?

Sort of. You do cut out the bottom and set it over the cone. But you have to use a "wata botl" to impress people. 
Here is the one I use at home. Rich gave me his used bottle at Ft Worden. Saved me. In fact I had several save me in various ways all weekend.

I think he means a "Water Bottle" that has a “label”
But I kinda like Kiteguy’s “Singer” water bottle.....
