I like the silver sharpie...
Seems to work well and since Gary you signed my very first kite with silver sharpie it has been dunked in the ocean 2 times and still looks like you just signed "good Heavens"
BTW in case I haven't said it enough...thank you Gary who knew what you would start in teaching me to build!!!!

The main reason I sign my work is to remind me when I made the damn thing. I just can't remember otherwise.
I do get requests to sign my work from clients and when I do I always use a fine tip gold paint marker. This works fine for me and although it wears thin after a few years, it doesn't really matter as by then it would most probably have been retired anyway and would be used very little. Besides I always place my signature in a less conspicuous place on the back somewhere. I guess that makes me crafty? _________________ http://www.softkites.com

Great day today, I flew garfield for 4 hours this afternoon at work above the grape vines. Tomorrow the grape harvest starts so garfield acted as he did last year as a bird scarer.
It is getting rather cold at night since we are in autumn now
Thanks for asking.

RvW,
Very nice site, with some beautiful kites and junk.
I had trouble signing the guestbook, and got a "page not found" error.
Love the quilted parafoil!
