Ok some one I'm sure can help me out here...how do I figure out what size a fitting is to a rod size ..I looked over every thing and tried to find fittings to fit some rods that steve has but none of the numbers seem to match up.....
can you help me figure out my learning block when it comes to this?

Some specifics migth help us figure out what you need.

For example, if you're talking about .230 rod with an APA connector...

Yes, I admit, it is a little difficult. On my "to do" list is a spreadsheet similar to the Ferrel Sheet here:
http://www.kitebuilder.com/inventory.ferrels.htm

In the works is a sheet that will list each fitting for each size spar....

Basically, it works like this, If you have a spar with an OD of .2200, it will fit the APA leadig edge fitting, CLEAPA2122 - the 21 & 22 in the code refer to the size spar it will fit.....so this fitting will fit the RLG2100 and RLG2200 (or any other spar with the same size OD)

That is a general hint toward the coding of the fittings.... let me know what you are trying to match up, and I will advise you further...
