It's official. The National Air and Space Museum has invited members from Wings Over Washington and Maryland Kite Society, plus a few special guests, to present kites and fly indoors at the Udvar-Hazy Center in Dulles, VA.
On Saturday, March 13, from 10 to 3 you will be able to see us flying nearly non-stop amidst the famous aircraft found there. MKS will bring a large collection of their kites to display. We will also have hospitality tables for the general public to get info on kite flying and clubs.
If you're in the Washington, DC area that weekend I highly recommend you drop by the place and check it and us out. This you gotta see. _________________ Mike Mosman

And Mike, for those of us too far away to take a peek, I hope there will be some pics available for us to see. _________________ Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. |

I can man the mic, Mr. Squidward, but you'll leave a very large hole in the event. |

That was fun! Shall we do it again? Certainly!!
This comming Saturday we will be flying inside again, this time at the Air and Space Museum on the Washington Mall. Our special guest, fresh from the frozen north, will be Lam Hoac. (Flying next to Lam I'm sure to look like a poser, but I'm sure to be having fun.)
Come on down and share the experience.
BTW...A Washington Post reporter caught a picture of me at last Saturday's event. It appeared in last Sunday's issue. I was flying a 19' delta for the crowd. ("Hey folks. Who thinks I can fly this big kite indoors? Oh yeah? Watch THIS!)

Bugs? Bugs? I'm signed up for the Janus . . . If it runs a late we'll just have to skip the wild party . . . _________________ Rich Durant
