I am designing a new kite that require a uninqe fitting at the shoulders. The kite is basicly a snow angel that flies. My problem is I need a basic 15 degree dihedral fitting for avia .240 center and avia .230 off the sides. this in an off itself is fine but, I also need a 17 degree up angle on the sides in addition to the 15 degrees back. I was thinking of attempting to machine this part out of a dowel rod but I am wondering (actually i don't belive) if it's strong enough to hold. Does anyone have another "readily availible" alturnitive. _________________ William Salisbury

I have requested special fittings from Steve before.... His dad is an accomplished machinist....
Just send/FAX him a drawing and an idea of how big the kite will be, so he can pick materials for it and before long you will have a great custom part in your mail box...
IMHO for a reasonable price too....
As far as I know, Kite Studio is the only company that will custom manufacture small quantities of parts. _________________ VR/
