I like Eagles...
There are about 4 nesting pair of bald eagles within a 10 mile drive of my home and my wife and I love to watch them soar. They live in a state owned, protected natural area. I have never seen them pick up any type of small dog, but I do think it is possiable.
Or did I miss the point? Are you possiably refering to a professional sport team of some kind??
Hockey
Baseball
Football
Rugby
Cricket
Lawn bowling
Foosball
Socker
Darts
Bowling
Square dancing _________________ VR/

Who was that team masquerading as the Eagles all year? Was nice to see the REAL Eagles showed up for the playoff game. I had a hard time recognizing the team that won all those games and piled up all that yardage. The team I rooted for (???) when I lived in the Philly area got back together for the playoffs. The Beagles of old....dropped passes, missed tackles, no offense,...... Maybe if Philly built them a new stadium the Birds would play better....(ooops they just did that).
From what I saw, the only player on the Eagles was Deuce Staley, and that's before Carolina tried to turn McNabb into a wishbone. |

Any truth to the rumor that the Eagles tried to sign Ruben Stoddard (at the stadium to sing the National Anthem) at half time and tried to talk him into starting at left tackle in the second half? |

Are the teams going to use cleats or snow shoes at the game tomorrow? Wonder if they'll get the field cleaned off in time? I can imagine all the eagle 'fans' pelting the falcons with snowballs from the upper decks. Hope the beer trucks are still able to make a delivery with all the snow.
Go Eagles. |

Yes I still like the Eagles that live near me.
I Havent seen much of them this year, but they sure are majestic in flight.
Luckly they have not attacked my kites.
HERE is a link to Caladon Natural Area, A Virgina state park, where they live. _________________ VR/

As much as I'd like to see the Eggles go to the Super Bowl, I hope they don't win. Not that I have anything against them, but it's the destruction the fans will do in the name of celebration.
Phila has already beefed up police patrols at several locations that were the scenes of fires and vandalizm the last time the Flyers won the Stanley Cup.
Go Falcons.
Good winds...Charlie |
