Total Project Overload.

Airbrush paint testing (including learning how to airbrush)
Delta Conynes,
Stained Glass Delta Conynes,
House Cleaning
Pocket Sleds (part of paint testing)

I really need to focus.

Sounds like you have a handful...


Priority lists always help me...

i.e. If I have a project that someone is counting on me to complete then that's what I do first because stuff I do for me isn't as important... If I have more than one of those then I do whatever one needs to be delivered first.

Just writing it down and prioritizing the list can help a lot... Not as overwhelming ...

OR

Like Cliff said you could down a few Keiths (mmm.. Nova Scotia beer) or maybe a few and see how it looks after that...

Or, you could try one of my favorite kite anchors "Ropewalk", or "Spinal Tap" (this one is a micro brew and is RARELY brewed due to the complicated double brewing process )

Next, take a DEEP BREATH.

O.K. Next step is to write each task on a separate 3 X 5 (or metric equivalent) card. Then, reorganize in order of importance. Or, if you have a COMPUTER, you could put everything in a data base and then sort. (I am better at using the 3 X 5 cards than I am at using the computer.)

Anyway, isn't this a helpful group? If you ask, we will respond. Of course, you already knew we would put our two cents worth in if you just gave us the opportunity. Hope you are having fun with this. Isn't it amazing how we all have gotten ourselves into this situation and then wonder how we are going to get everything done without damaging ourselves or our relationships. Oh well, this too shall pass. The question to ask is: will you learn from this experience?? Hummmm. Perhaps???

I need to get going. We are having an Indoor Kite Festival and I need to go fly a kite.

Pick one of the projects - use the priority system mentioned above if it suits you - and just start cookin'.
Getting the first one done is the hard part. After that, carry the enthusiasm from getting the first one done right into starting the next one.

My project list looks a lot like yours - we even have some things in common.

Just finished my dragon appliqué SUL Osprey, and I'm feeling pretty good about my project list now.

Remember thati building is supposed to be fun!

So I just do the one that feels good at the time!!!!!!!

I'm trying to make time to build a Virus, but my car's brakes need attention and the timing belt is overdue, the VW needs the engine pulled and the house needs paint. My wife has a patio to build, and I'm getting my mom's house ready to rent out....

Meanwhile Progcraft keeps on cranking out exceptional kites....
And all this time I thought Terry was magic or something. His production of fine kites is staggering!
