I have had this image in my files for about 2 years. I have always wanted to use it on a edo or similar kite. I know I will no longer be using this as I am mainly working with soft kites right now.
You are welcome to use it.

So do Universal Studios. I once recieved a nasty email from there lawyers.
As a consequence I stay well away from copywrited images.

OK, this is when push comes to shove. Do I really want to tell all about where I've recently discovered the patterns for some really kick-ass stuff that is high on my to-do list?
Guess I'll have to fess up. The BEST ever patterns for what you are trying to do are in a book called Sea Faeries by Jillian Sawyer. It is a bit tricky to find, but run it throug Google and, in the meantime, check this e-bay link: http://search.ebay.com/jillian-sawyer-sea-faeries_W0QQfkrZ1QQfnuZ1QQxpufuZx
(I just got my copy a couple of weeks ago and paid more than the current auction price.)
Jilliam Sawyer is from Australia, and I've noted that some of her designs have shown up on kites from there. This is a secret that really is too good to keep and she has SEVERAL books in print (I have most of them!) |

Here is another link to the various Sawyer books. You will have to check the site out if you want to know ALLl of the differnt patterns she has available. (My conscience is clear re not making it too easy on you by posting pix as I am MADLY in love with these patterns, which makes sharing really, really difficult!)

Good looking stuff there!!!!!!
WOW!!!!!
I guess I need to find a stained glass store or quilt makers store in my area so I can flip thru some pattern books.
I may go to the library too... _________________ VR/

Google images for mermaid, 102,000 pics, not all what you're looking for, but a good overview.. _________________ Larry |
