Hey Kelvin I think you might be being a bit modest with all this. Firstly it's no easy task to organise such an exhibition in a museum. And secondly in trying to search the interweb so see if it is still on I find this http://www.thisisthenortheast.co.uk/the_north_east/archive/2004/02/19/A9e7dt.ec.html.
Congratulations on putting the effort in during the school holidays to promote the world of Kites to the general public and especially the children out there. How did you think it went?
By the way when does the exhibition close? or have I missed it? _________________ Regards

Thanks Peter I never look at it like that .... it gone very well lots of people have asked how to conact the NEKF and what kites to buy..... The exhibition is still on and I would love for you to see it..... Redcar and Cleveland Council have given me the use of the show ground next door to the museum on Sunday 3/4/05 for kite flying. NEKF are coming you and yours are most welcome and you will still be able to see the exhibition

I'll try and get up there one weekend in March hopefully.

Karen finished the chain windsock the other day (No pics yet) and made a start on that papillon sail you kindly sent us Kelvin.
http://kites.fotopic.net/p13335897.html The main colours being sewed on.
http://kites.fotopic.net/p13335901.html One wing with all the colours attached and trimmed off
http://kites.fotopic.net/p13335904.html The first sail cut away and completed
Poor light in here i'm afraid so the photos arent very good quality.
Karen reckons the other sail will be done by tomorrow too

Well Karen made an Icarex one today at Karl Longbottoms workshop so she knows how it goes together now
See http://www.nkg.org.uk/gallery/NKG-Kite-Workshop-3rd-April-2005
All we need is some spars for the sail you sent, Karl didnt have spare ones with him today unfortunately.
And I made my first complete kite today!

Be careful, Dazzz, or your girlfriend will be out a job! Kind of fun to say, "I made it!" Congratulations! _________________
