Remember:

Sewing Machine and important parts (foot pedal, bobbin case, bobbins, needles, thread)
Sewing Light
Scissors
Seam Ripper (heaven forbid you should have to use it!)
Water color pencils for marking fabric
Roller cutter and mat or better yet, a Precision Strip Cutting System
Straight Edge
Measuring tape or rule
Double stick tape
Spray Adhesive
Naptha
Blue Masking tape

I know there is more to bring but I am too tired to think of it right now. Time for bed.

I wonder which forum members are going to be at MAKR this year?

Barb, Ronda, Kiteguy, Grant L., Windjunkie, Airhead with her other half and son, ..... I know about these...

Those that are there will have a chance to get some fine things in the raffle. That is a fun time of the weekend.

Here is one of the things I am bringing. However, it will be in a sewing cabinet, as well.

Hope to see you there.

By the way, here is how you can recognize me, and that I am a Forum member.....

I will probably have the same blank look as you see in the photo, but not NEARLY as much hair!!

I put the forum logo with my name and user name on the bill so it can be seen in my normal position...hunkered over a sewing machine! Rolling Eyes

Is the hair attached to the hat or can you wear it seperate, if it is a more formal, "No Hat" type gathering? Shocked Laughing Laughing Laughing

I am going to start organizing things tonight. I've got some sedgwicubes build for the auction and decided at the last minute to make a 4 foot bol. ( I love the rotating ring calculator. I have some long skinny scraps of ballon Ripstop that were just too narrow for my bol templates Sad . Used the same numbers in the program but changed from 20 to 24 pieces and shazam. Just the right size to put all the scraps to a good use Very Happy ) Started on the bol yesterday and had all but three pieces sewn together last night. Not too bad considering I had to make a new template and had to work yesterday Very Happy I am going to cut the bridle lines tonight so that I can put the knotless loops in them tomorrow at work. I'll try to post photos of it all this week.
I would like to try to get all of the forum members together for a group photo if possible. I think Sat between dinner and the auction would be a good time. We tried to do it Sun last year but a lot of people are trying to get organized to hit the road on Sun.

Now, have to remember the extra sewing machine for Ronda, have to remember the extra sewing machine for Ronda, have to remember the extra sewing machine for Ronda, have to remember the extra sewing machine for Ronda. ( I have this vision of me being half-way there and suddenly the light bilb going off . Idea d'oh! Brick wall )

I am bringing a present for you GrantL. So, you REALLY "need to remember the sewing machine for Ronda."

We are just getting ready to leave the house to go to Portland. Yes, it is almost 10 pm and we have a two hour drive. Then, we have to be at the airport by 4:30 AM. Are we nuts??? There is more to this story but I will tell you about it at MAKR. I can't wait to get there. BTW, I was only able to get about 4 poster boards loaded. I had some great really thin plastic signage that would have been wonderful for templates but the ski box was FULL!!!

Oh well, at least you are getting some posterboard.

See you there.
