And remember that twin needles are intended for long straight (or barely curved) seams. Think about doing a sharp point on applique and worrying about the differential between the inside and outside seam on that point. Either you will have a sharp point on the inside and a curve on the outside, or you will have to make sort of a "Y" turn (like you do in a car) and cross over some seams.
