At least we found out that you were paying attention to us.

I need to put the info you posted about the fabric in a handy place. Very helpful info!! I just don't have a clue when it comes to ordering fabric on what to get. I have worked with tyvek so much that I haven't experimented with the stuff that kite builders use. hahaha Of course, often I will take a class where the fabric is provided. So, I don't have the experience of purchasing fabric.

Thanks for all the help and guidance.

At a recient workshop I was watching an individual doing a panel layout on some rsn. When he placed his template down he noticed that the weft was very wavey and not square to the warp. He asked me if that made a difference to his layout. My responce was that when I do layouts I take that into consideration if the panel is subjected to stress . In some cases the weft mis-alignment may cause a change in the bias direction. The question I now have is, am I being too critical. How about some other thoughts.

It depends on the kite and the stresses involved.

That is one reason I am shifting over to Polyester in most of my kites....
