Hi All,
Hope that you are all well.
Just a little post to show you what I have been making over the winter months.
Just follow this link to an online gallery
http://freds-pics.fotopic.net/c435339.html
Please bear in mind that I have only been making kites and line art since last October. Before that date I had never even turnd on a sawing machine, and now I have the kite making bug
regards

Those look great Fred. You really have been taken by the bug
Can you tell us about that 'Navy Dove'? I've never seen that before. It seems to have seveal layers to it.
I like your bag too
Cheers,

Welcome Fred and Helen.
You have been extremely busy this winter
You have some great looking kites. Keep up the pace and Mountain Man will have some competition for most kites completed in a year (not an official competition, it just seems like every other time he posts, there's a new kite coming).
Good Job. _________________ Mark

Hi Progcraft,
Thanks for the coments.
For the Navy Dove, the kite it is in the Plans section under cellular kites.
I think it is like a Cody but without all them spars.
Thanks for taking a look.

Great Looking Kite Fred I really like the applique on you double coyne. Really nice, especially for having just started last fall. Be sure to get some in-the-air shots once the weather cooperates. I can't wait to see those kites with some sunlight behind them |

Fred, Well done! I am new to kite building as well and it really is a lot of fun. Those are all well made, I like the Tri-D colors and looks like you used wood spars to keep it simple, that one is on my long list of want to builds. Keep at it you are making some quality stuff, do not forget to make time to go fly them as well.

Great looking kites. I just began getting the kite bug about the same time last year that you did. The weather being milder here in Texas I have not made as much progress because I have actually been out flying. I have made simple kites though. A plain 4M NPW teega and a 6' rokkoku that I still have to finish briddling. I am inspried by everyone's applique work and can see that I will have to do some of that in the near future. Hope to see pictures of them up in the sky soon. _________________ Buggy Berserker
