Hey Terry:
I just read Steve's post about you being selected as KMOTY!
I like to extend my best wishes to you on receiving this honor!
I followed The Beast Within for awhile and was amazed with what you did with the graphics.
Congratulations again.
Good winds...Charlie |

Hi Charles.
Thank you very much. This forum, which means you and everyone else here, is a very welcomeing family. The postive and open attitudes here are very refreshing. And everyone is very wiling to share. And the wealth of talent, knowledge, and potential that is here is astounding. When you put all that together this forum is my Muse (in spades!)
And you know, after dealing with flakey computer software day-in and day-out, Kites are just the best escape you can have. (oh god, I just got an idea for a 101001100110 appliqued Rokkaku )
Thanks again bud.
Cheers,
P. _________________ There is no box.

Hey Terry,
I think you are talking about a "binary" appliqued Rokkaku, right?
If so you should do many rows of 1 and 0 s AND'ing, OR'ing and XOR'ing the rows of bits as go along... hahaha a little bit shifting and you are all set...
or you could use..
"01010010011011110110101101101011011000010110101101110101"
or
"010101000110010101110010011100100111100100100000010101000110100001101001011011000110110001101101011000010110111001101110"
"010000010110110001101100001000000111100101101111011101010111
0010001000000110101101101001011101000110010100100000011000010
1110010011001010010000001100010011001010110110001101111011011
1001100111001000000111010001101111001000000111010101110011"
(forgive me, I'm a geek at heart)

How about this:
#include <iostream>
int main() {
int i;
for(i = 99; i > 0; --i) {
cout i << " bottles of beer on the wall\n";
cout i << " bottles of beer!\n";
cout "Take one down, pass it around. " << (i-1) << " bottles of beer on the wall!\n"
}
return 0;
}

Or even worse. 'Hello world" written in Brainfu*k language (yes, a real, albeit highly esoteric, Turing-complete programming language who's compiler is 240 bytes and written for the Amiga)
++++++++++[>++++>++++++++++>+++++++<<<-]
>>>++.<+.+++++++..+++.<++++.<+++[>----<-]>.
>++++++++.--------.+++.------.--------.<<+++[>++++<-]>++.<++++++++++.
(If you could compile that and run it, it would print out "Hello World!" _________________ There is no box.

I did. I'm just not sure wha tto make of that third one
And you slightly misspelled my last name. There's two 01101110 on the end.
The first one is a pretty neat idea. I like that. _________________ There is no box.
