Wonder if this is Prog at Pincer Creek this coming July looking at his fantastic kites in the sky? There is probably a kite arch there, someplace. Very Happy

hahahaha. that's funny picture Smile Smile Smile
This year, I won't be relaxing at all.
Here's the story.
This is the 14th year for the festival. For the past 13 years, the festival has been organized and run by people who aren't kiters. They don't fly kites, they don't build kites, they are not a part of the kiteing community. They are festival people though and know all the ins and outs of festival. This way, they've always put on a very good kite festival.
However, the last couple years has seen a decrease in attendance at the festival.
So, I decided to volunteer my help and this year I'm on the committe. I'm in charge of finding and recruiting Canadian kite talent. I'm also running several events like a Bear drop, bol races (thanks Grant! Smile ), and other things. I'm also the M.C. this year. I've also donated web space and am building a new website for the festival.
It's going to be a great festival this year. Lot's of new things happening and some new kites that have not been seen before in Pincher Creek.

It's a good picture Kiteguy Smile

Cheers,
P.
