I use the incorrect name of walking foot on my Pfaff's which are reallyIDF. Oh well, no lightning has struck me, yet. Shocked

Horrible news guys, I just heard that Kiteguy was struck by lightning. As scores of mourners gathered, the Pfaff Sewing Gods were seen gleefully dancing about his prone, charred body. On the good side though, Kiteguy's Pfaff now runs like a champ.

I now regret bringing it up..... Shocked

BUT ask a sewing machine store for a walking foot machine and the price starts arond $6,000 for a new one...... that only does straight stitching.

A Zigzag machine will set you back MORE...

But Sailright has a few for less, but I don't know the quality.

Pfaffanistas are a rigid sort, aren't they?
Us cheapo machine owners get to call things whatever we please. Laughing

Yeah. Owning a machine made by a company called "Simplicity", it's perfectly okay for me to call it "the thingy that holds the material down while the needle thingy stabs it." Laughing

Just remember guys, 'CHEAP' refers to quality and 'INEXPENSIVE' refers to price! Very Happy

And, "FRUGAL' is not a bad word.

You guys are just all jealous because you can't sacrifice a goat for improved sewing machine performance. Wink
