At fabricland, I looked at the 505, 606, 707, 404,..... but they were all 20 bucks a can. And it's a tiny little can. I decided not to buy any of them as I myself just can't afford that. Maybe I will soon and just try it out. But, it would have to be really, really, really, really, really, really good to be worth the price for such a tiny little can. Per gram, it's works out to over 4 times as much as any of the other glues.

I do recommend you at least try it. A can goes a long way. I have used Spray Mount and would use it if I ran out of 505 but not as a first choice. I have a good machine and do not want to risk gumming it up beyond repair to save a few cents now and pay big repair bills later on. 505 is designed for the job, to be used in a sewing machine. Elmer's gummed up my needle a lot and I had to use a lot of silicone lubricant just to get it to sew. Spray Mount was considerably better but still gummy. At my very first Kite Workshop with Robert Trepanier, I asked his preference because at that time I had used Spray Mount for my first applique kite and while he did not recommend something, he did say that on his machine he could not use Spray Mount. It gummed up his needles and he could not sew with it at all. With all of these glues the big thing to remember is a little goes a long way.
When I consider the cost of the materials I put into a good kite, I think it is wise to use the best tools you can .

Oops, that's what I forget to include in my results.
NONE of the glues caused any needle gumming for me. At all. I did not use any lubricant, nor anything else special.

You told us who manufactured the needles and what size you used, but you did not say what type of needle you used.
I Found THIS site that lists some of the types of needle Klasse manufactures but I could not easy find the manufacture's site... _________________ VR/
