Yes you can! I have done that once in a while. Not on purpose, and not for long! And usually it won't fly again, but that is another story. Trash bag plastic is a much better building material for flying in rain, should you like that sort of activity. I can't figure why one would like that, but...
I once got caught in a light rain, and learned a new decorating technique for kites made from colored tissue paper.  _________________

Okay...it seems that the general advice is that I can use any materials....
Fabric is quite cheap in Hong Kong so i will simply just go around and check out some cheap and good nylons or other things like that..
Let you guys know how it goes after this weekend's shopping...wish me luck.

as you shop, hold various fabrics to your mouth and try blowing thru them... try to find light weight cloth that is as close to zero porosty as you can get.
