Think I will hang on to see what Steve has in the works, first. Shocked

Hmm, definitely not as many as I was expecting. Confused

PC31 is just not all it's cracked up to be, at least for my money. It's lightweight and slippery, but that's not always a plus for stunt kites. It's tear resistance sucks compared to nylon, and in polyester I've found Texlon to work alot better for me. Plus I can get Texlon poly or a selection of different kinds of nylon for nearly half the cost of PC31.

Some posts make PC31 out to be the perfect kite fabric, but after making a few kites from it, I got tired of the sound it made. Any hard landing is like a rimshot. Fighters and minikites are where I like it.
It would be more available if it made good spinakers, but apparently it's too fragile.

Hello all, I'm new to the forum and far less experienced than all of you, but I'd still like to purchase 15 or 20 yards if the price is right. I noticed the last post was over 3 weeks ago... what was the outcome?

Hi Kevin. Welcome to kitebuilders forum. Don't fear being new. Of late, htere are many people makeing thier first posts, and building thier first kites, just like you. btw, if you search hard enough here, you'll find my first post, also made before I actually made my first kite Smile

This stuff here: http://www.kitebuilder.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=24_108_176&osCsid=ac0201e9cc500e7737f0bc29608d9ec4 is very well priced. I doubt your going to beat it. Also take a look at the .75 oz seconds. As low as 4.50 a yard. Darn good prices. Most excellant fabric Smile
Being new, as you say, you don't need high priced fabric. Smile

P.

The outcome was that I couldn't find a supplier for Icarex to supply us with a reasonable enough price to set up a bulk buy. Sorry I didn't write that in my own words last time I posted.
