I use a snap blade knife for most of my cutting. I have a rotary cutter, but it just hangs there as the things I have to cut are much larger than my cutting board.

I cut on glass with the snap blade. It dulls the point quickly, but makes nice clean cuts with no drag.

When cutting real large things I use scissors and just slit with them rather than scissor, if you get my drift.
