|
|
I am wondering if anyone can advise me as to where on the internet I might find a comprehensive listing of major kiting events in the USA for 2005. I have made various efforts but can't seem to come up with much. Thanks |

Major events are always listed on the calander at the AKA website
Click HERE and pull down the Table of contents and Click on Festivals, Calander.....
Also look to your regional director for contact info for your local clubs...

FANTASTIC!!!! This makes me SO happy!!!!
For 2006, AKA will be going to Des Moines for a wide open flying field,
a central hotel atrium with a social point (bar) overlooking the indoor
flying, more affordable lodging, nearby shopping, and plenty of
convention fun. Mark your calendars now for early October, 2006.
Let's ALL go!
It will be nice to have the convention in my "neighborhood". Well, it is 200 miles away, so I can't come home each night. _________________

I know you were after State side events, but for festivals in the UK and many other large international ones, see http://www.kitecalendar.co.uk _________________ Regards

Good thing that the Iowa convention is in 2006 if it was a year later we might have had to dodge presidential canidate hopefuls. And I don't think I could resist some gratuitous pie slinging, in both directions. _________________ Robkite
