Actually when I experimented to get browns and deep wine reds for my Inca I got some good results dying over red. I also mixed some scarlet red, dark brown and a bit of golden yellow to help keep the warm hues. Used Rit dyes. "Stewing" the Ripstop in hot water on the stove gave me darker colours than just trying to soak them in the laundry sink. _________________ Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. |
