Most home DIY stores sell a spray frosting for windows to keep the neighbors from spying on you. |
Why not try Painter's Touch Frost Spray For Glass from Rust-Oleum brands?
From their web site:
Semi-transparent frosted coating for privacy or decorative uses.
• Tough acrylic resin scatters light coming through the glass. Lets light through without letting anyone see through…for complete privacy
• Also designed to give a decorative etched glass look to windows, mirrors, shower doors, and more. Great for stenciling!
• Great for decorating your kitchen and bath
Here is their web site so you can see the can and get a MSDS HERE _________________ VR/

I like that idea for the wife's mosaics! I will try this on my table also. _________________ John M |

This is a great idea. I'm in the process of makieng the pockets for 35 Eddy kites and this ruler under the glass is great.

I while back I read Russ' suggestion about the ruler . I had an broken 12 foot tape measure and cut off the leading end tab and placed it under the glass . Great time saver. This past weekend my wife and I were at an IKEA store and found Paper rulers hanging on a hook for customers to use to measure thier furniture. The sign said FREE. I thought about using them under my glass table. I ended up with a half dozen . On one side it 's printed 39 inches ,other side is printed in CM's. I placed two at a perfect 90 degrees to each other ,with inches up and turned two over and did the same thing showing CM's , Works good squaring fabric, cutting strips or even doing layout work drawing on the glass with sharpies. Hope lots of you guy's have IKEA'S in your area.
