|
|
I have decided to come back to kite making after a year not not building anything. I am looking for someone to mentor me in kite building so I can advance my kite making abilities. I am open to any type of kite but I have some experience making dual line framed kites, quad framed kites and framed single line. Built one foil but I have never gotten it to fly.
I would prefer someone local so that I can learn first hand from the kite maker but I am open to some type of mentorship over Zoom or something similar. I just think i can learn more and faster in person. I am located in northern virginia but I am willing to travel within reason.
I tend to learn pretty quickly and I do have alot of tools already. I have my own sewing machine. |

@ shortlineflyer,
Great initiative! It's always good to keep learning.
If you don't find anybody, you might consider attending a kitebuilder class somewhere.
You'll meet several builders at once, learn a lot and make friends forever. _________________ I guess I'll always be
