For the 2021 AKA Kitemakers' Competition, the Committee has decided that the categories of kites will be:
Flat Kites
Bowed Kites
Soft and Flexible Kites
Cellular and Dimensional Kites
Multi-line Sport Kites
They've eliminated Deltas, Rokkakus, Figure kites, Fighter Kites, Indoor/Zero Wind kites, and Sky Display (including arches, ribbons, centipedes, and dragons). So, which of the five categories should those be rolled into? Please give your best reasoning.
I'll start. Rokkakus are a bowed kite, albeit a specialized type. Figure kites should fall into whatever category the kite actually is, rather than being defined by how they look. |

A lot of line laundry would be "soft kites" _________________ I guess I'll always be

Most line laundry is indeed "soft" but since it requires a kite to hold them up, they go into the "sky display" category. |
