Rumor has it that Kite Studio will be getting some Dark Brown .75 Ripstop!
I have just agreed to a few thousand yards of cloth to be "re-dyed" brown. The way it works is, when the vendor dyes some cloth, sometimes the shade is "off" so the fabric is then re-dyed to a darker color... usually black. Remember our Eggplant?
But... instead of black, I convinced a vendor to re-dye the next batch brown!
So... then next time fabric needs to be re done, we will have some brown available again.
Stay tuned to kitebuilder.com for more info as it becomes available....

No word. What happens is, the vendor will dye a batch of cloth, but for some reason the dyed color is not correct... they will then attempt to re-dye brown on top of the screwed up color. This doesnt happen often, but when it does, we should get some unique shade of brown.
I will announce it when I get it. _________________ Steve Ferrel
