I missed out on WSIKF and the Nats, so I am laying a guilt trip on the Missus. Hence there is an excellent chance that I will be there, too. Looking forward to seeing you again. Maybe I will need another water bottle!!
Now all I need to do is obtain some help from my son, and sister in law, both of which lives on the west coast.... That would make it easier to get the other half to go along with the idea. _________________

To be a little self serving, here's a picture of the type of kite I'm teaching at OKR. It is a Baden Powell variation. The class kite will be 4 feet tall and have applique flames. I will try and get a picture of the actual class kite soon. Until then here's a picture of the 2 meter version with a Seminole patchwork center.

Great looking kite Rob. It's too bad the the OKR brochure or website diesn't have a picture of the various kites, banners, and line laundry being built at the retreat. The visual is really helpful when trying to decide which workshops to sign up for. _________________ Rich Durant

OK, had a long discussion with the other half, and checked things out with the people on the west side, and it is written in stone.... I will be at OKR this year!
Well, at least it is written in soft clay. The best leverage that I was able to apply is that we will have a new grand child on the west coast by that time. Gotta go spoil them when you can.
Thanks, Rob, for sharing your kite that you will be presenting. Makes me want to be sure to take that class. However, there are many to choose from, and only a limited time. So some that I want to take will have to go begging....
Yours will be on my request list, though. _________________
