Yo, SteveF! Did you see this picture? : http://www.pixoftoronto.com/gallery/kites2004/IMG_2541

Cheers,
P.

This one is by the Italian team of Jane Edwards and Ludovico Burtozzi (sp?). I beleive that Ludo actually built this one from a half toned image that an well known Italian photographer took. It's really quite something close up and the stitching is very nice. It might be fun to play with photoshop for a while to half tone some images... Smile

Cheers,
Bill

I see that John Freeman was a big hit. I really this kite of his: http://www.steadywinds.com/gal/kitefest2004/100_1847 I saw last year in Pincher Creek. It's a fantastic design.

That's one of my favorite too. After MM's dragon of course. Very Happy Wink

Thanks guys for the great pictures!

As a matter of fact, John and Marzlie Freeman are sitting in my family room at this moment watching TV. They've been touring the Toronto museums while staying at our house for the past few days. They fly back to B.C. tomorrow.
