I just recived my order of Bainbridge ripsop today. I noticed something strange. One color was nice and smooth on both sides, like other Bainbridge I have ordered before. The other color was rather rough one one side, kind of like it wasn't coated. Has anyone else experienced variations like this?

hmmm.... what color? I'm not sure I understand whats going on. If its a bad coating, try my hi-tech blow test. Hold a piece tight to your mouth, seal it, and blow. Can you blow through it?

It's the white. I did try the blow test, and it seemed to be pretty air-tight. I also tried dipping both fabrics in water with similar results. I don't want to make a big deal about this, but I am curious about it. I am using it all on one large kite, so I want all the fabric I use to have similar properties.
