1.Remote control for the medusa see on video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eurOXbFMmA4
Here I operate 4x2 cells by by lines 2x100m: when they collapsed medusa make turn.
2. With autopilot - heavy horizontal pendulum or\and control bar by 2 ailerons.
1 case - cinematic contact, 2 case - power contact (need bar smaller in 4..5 times).

Looks like the kids are really enjoying the air dolphin flying on the pole in zero wind.

Is the air dolphin inflated like a balloon and closed off in zero wind?

No, it has valve on nose: long tube to tail for cold air. By own motion airdolphin souse air (or by wind) du to Bernoulli low. Wight skin is too small and pressure inside is same. But by strong wind (15m\s) i can make hole in lock on the back side of airdolphin.

nice the transparent material works fine, i like the "interior" view.

Is there RSN on the marked that would give the same effect?
anyone?

my own ada4m is still in the box: shame on me!
these "kites" are so fragile that you really need next to now wind to fly them.

None that I have seen anywhere. Mylar films for gift wrap. And some much heavier .75oz Norlam Steve has in the Kite Studio.

My new kite Medusa 10.13.2012: New Medusa number 9 on the same technology as the airdolphin. At this time the production version (optional)) New in this implementation lightweight welded seams without adhesive tape 50mm, only 10mm. Construction joints in parallel. Simplified valve from collapse - they are now both in the airdolphin - just ring welded around the perimeter of the input port and four pieces of tape bonded to the shell and bulkheads, only 8 units. Made possible remote start - air inlets props in rings snake weight 140 g to control two lines of 50m from the line L = 100m 1mm thick., Folded in half with the new winding reel. They allow you to move the kite in the wind window and do Cerro 360-degrees in the vertical plane (the video is), flies in the wind of 0.2 m \ s to 15 m \ s - tentacle-valve allows excess air.

Glad to see that you are still making these.
You must have a tremendous wind shadow with those trees and apartments, impressive that the medusa lifts at all.

Thanks Pete! Yes, it is difficult to fly there. I run for fun kites in the meadow in the park on an island in the Dnieper River (river in Kiev)
