Why would you want to waste good beer just to experiment on DucoCement? Or, was it the cheap stuff. Personally, I like a nice dark porter or something along those lines.

HERE is the MSDS for Duco Cement.

It contains 1-methoxy-2-propanol acetate (whatever that is. Where is a chemest when you need one?) Acetone, Butyl Acetate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Cellulose Nitrate and Camphor, among other things that they are not required to list on the MSDS.

BTW it is also greater than 75% Volatile Organic Compounds.... which means lots of out gassing while it evaporates.

Oh the fun I could have with this comment!! But, I will restrain myself and mention that this just emphasizes the need for a good fan (blowing the gas away from you!) We need all the brain cells we have so we can make more kites.

Be sure to ventilate your work area if you work with this product!
