I'm looking for some of the clear, thin, non-reinforced Mylar material that Prism uses on their Vapor SUL kites. I mean the stuff that's maybe .001 thick (I think it's actually .0005, that's 1/2 mil), and has no visible scrim at all. I need some to repair Chilese's Vapor.
Email me if you have some you'd like to sell, or post here if there is an open source to buy some. There's nothing here at KiteStudio, and Hang-Em-High doesn't seem to have any, IntoThe Wind, either.
Thanks for looking. _________________ "The wind is the perfect reminder of God.

I have some that is MUCH thinner than that.
Have you looked at Metalic Tissue Paper from the discount greeting card stores or party stores. Most are not clear but are half mil and would add a neat dementon to the kite.
Have you contacted Prism to see if you can get some of the film from them directly? They are always willing to help repair a kite. _________________ VR/

Thin mylar is used for vacuum bagging small composite layups, like model airplane wings.
This place is an indusrial supplier that sells small quantities of films. May be of interest.
