Has anyone worked with this material?
I know it's great for it's water repellancy but it's the breathability i'm worried about.

What are you using it for?????

I have a Gore-Tex rain coat and it is the best fabric for that type of use..

Bought it at the LL Bean outlet and saved lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I bought Mrs. Squid a jacket and pants set and she loves it (she is a weather wimp)

you dont get to hot like you do in silicone coated fabrics.

I've been trolling for kite material deals. I'm a very tight (read non-existant) budget and was looking for alternatives. I'm also trying ot avoid pillaging many of the new neighborhood developments of the tyvek homewrap. Smile
Is it a bad thing to drive by a new house construction site and think "my goodness, there's my delta, airfoil, NPW... all stuck to the side of these houses...?

if you find Goretex cheep, let me know ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There arnt many deals better than here a Kite Studio on good kite materials.....

But if you dumpster dive at a fabric manufacturer, fabric Converter, sail loft, parachute loft, etc.... you may find some cool stuff but be CAREFULL as there may be knive blades in there too... Evil or Very Mad

Check the yellow pages for some of the afore mentioned places in your area.
