Hi. I need a bit of advice.
How do I hem the inside edge of an angle?? An outside angle is easy, but I can't figure out this inside edge.

Thanks.
P.

Binding an inside edge of an angle is easy. Just use two pieces and overlap at the corner.

Hemming is easy, too, if you do not care about strength at the corner. If you do, then you will need to add a reinforcement patch at the corner and then hem the inside corner.

I like to use the insignia cloth from Kite Studio for this purpose. That way I can just stick the reinforcement patch in place and no need to sew. First I cut a circle about 1 inch diameter. I cut out a pie sized piece of the circle to match the inside angle I want to hem and stick it in place. Miter cut the inside angle of the hem and then fold hem and sew away.

There you go. As you can see from the reinforcement shape that it is as easy as pie! Very Happy

On my Revs, a V-shaped piece of adhesive-backed Kevlar fabric reinforces the center of the TE. It can be placed inside the hem.

The adhesive backed Kevlar stands up to a lot more abuse than the Dacron does.

but it is yellow.

I have colored some with a permant marker to hide it, but the ink does not always stay where i put it Shocked Crying or Very sad
