For APA LE fittings here on the website - there are two numbers given. In some, it looks like it means that both holes should fit either of the numbers. In others it looks like the LE hole is one size and the spreader hole is the other.

Am I understanding this right?

If the numbers are separated with a dash "-", then the fitting should work if both the LE and spreader fall into the range given, ie, both holes in the fitting are the same size.

If the numbers are separated by a slash "/", then the fitting should work if the LE is sized around the first number, and the spreader is sized around the second number, ie, the LE number is generally larger than the spreader number.

Right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks,
Jason

Yes, you have it right.

Remember that these fittings are flexible. It is better to be a little small so that the fit is snug rather than to be large and have the fitting fall out.

Yes, you got it right Jason. If you click on the product name a window will pop up giving you more information, including the spar sizes that the fitting will fit. I recently updated the info in this window so it should be a little cleared now.

You can jump directly to this section HERE
