I just heard a rumor that Grand Champion, Master Kitebuilder Jose Sainz will be coming to Pennsylvania August 7-8 to teach a workshop in Camp Hill, PA. This event will be sponsored by the Keystone Kiters.

Jose will be teaching some sort of "Winged Diamond Kite"

Just a reminder about this event:

There are about 10 spots open (maybe less as of this posting) for this retreat. Those of you on the East Coast who can come don't want to miss this rare teaching appearance by Jose. For those of you who don't know Jose and his work, check out some of the photos on the kitebuilder.com competition area. In this forum, Jose would be a five star builder Exclamation

Cathy and I are going to the Keystone Kiters retreat. I happens to be the same weekend as the Liberty Kite Festival which I am giving up to go to the retreat. That's how much I respect Jose.

I will take the opportunity at the retreat to present Jose with the kite I made for him in exchange for the one he gave me at Nationals last year.

I'm looking forward to the retreat very much.
