My Simplicity manual, PDF and probably video says after inserting the bobbin in the metal holder, thread through the tensioner. Then when you pull the string looking at the open bobbin side the bobbin should turn clockwise. I noticed tonight after buying 10 more bobbins anticipating a multiple order of thread from Steve that the sold by Sears Kenmore bobbins are the same as Simplicity along with the bobbin holder device that snaps into the machine. So just pull the thread while looking at the bobbin in the holder and it should turn clockwise.
Happy sewing.[/img] |
