I think the low bobbin light is a necessity for the kites that I sell. Even with the low bobbin light I sometimes run out of thread in the middle of a seam. _________________ Gentle breezes...

If you sew enough with a machine you will get to know the sound diffrence when the bobbin is getting low.
As long as you turn off the TV and Stereo...
I can tell when my Bernina is getting low, but I dont have enough miles on my Singer 20U yet... _________________ VR/

Link works here. Maybe your ISP is blocking the IP? _________________

Works here in Kansas. Crazyweb.com is somehting that looks like it may be blocked by a spam blocker. Judging by name only. I had no idea it was about vintage sewing machines. _________________

And there I was 10 years ago using a hand needle and thread to rebuild a vaporized Graphite stunt kite that went from 50mph to 0 not even denting the tree in the park. I've got a little hand operated Singer sewing machine that's cute. I'm just giving up and this time getting back into the kite game and gota have a machine that functions. No playing with trees this time if stunting. I learned my leason, although the kite was begging for a better skin |

If you have a Jo Ann Fabric store nearby, check out the White machines.
www.joann.com/
They have accessories in the store, and all quite affordable. The heavy duty machines are between 130-200 bucks.
